Bhubaneswar: Many parts of Odisha as night temperature dropped below ten degrees in several places on Tuesday.
G Udaygiri in Kandhamal emerged as the coldest place in the state with a minimum temperature of 7.2 degrees recorded on Tuesday.
Keonjhar and Kirei in Sundargarh registered a minimum temperature of 9.4 degrees. Daringibadi registered 9.5 degrees.
Other towns where winter chills were felt on Tuesday are — Phulbani (10 degrees), Angul (10.6 degrees), Sundargarh (11 degrees), Koraput (11.2 degrees) and Rourkela (11.3 degrees).
