Bhubaneswar: A low pressure area is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal around October 20, informed the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) Regional Centre.
Under the influence of which, several districts will witness rainfall, said the IMD.
“A cyclonic circulation is likely to form over north Andaman Sea & neighbourhood around 18th October 2022. It would move west northwestwards towards westcentral and adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal becoming low pressure area around 20th October, 2022,” the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
On the other hand, conditions are very likely to become favourable for withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from some parts of interior Odisha during the next 2 days, it added.
