Television actor Kushal Tandon has addressed his approach to relationships in an unseen clip from the reality show Alliance, days after fellow reality TV contestant Shreya Kalra accused him of flirting with her while he was reportedly in a relationship with Shivangi Joshi.
While Kushal did not directly respond to the allegations, the clip shows him speaking about how committed he is when he is in a relationship.
‘My world revolves around my partner’
During a conversation with gamer and content creator Payal Gaming on Alliance, Kushal said that his priorities shift completely when he is dating someone.
He explained that when he is working, his focus remains on his profession, but when he is in a relationship, his partner becomes the centre of his world. According to Kushal, he never gives his partner reasons to feel insecure and believes in dedicating his time and attention to the relationship.
The actor also admitted that his demanding shooting schedule often creates challenges in maintaining personal relationships. He revealed that during his last relationship, he could meet his partner only once every week or even once in ten days, adding that this often became a reason for disagreements.
Shreya Kalra’s Allegations
The comments come shortly after Shreya Kalra made allegations against Kushal during an episode of Lock Upp.
Shreya claimed the two interacted after shooting a promotional video for the television serial Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka. According to her, Kushal allegedly messaged and flirted with her on social media while he was reportedly dating Shivangi Joshi.
She further alleged that after learning about Kushal and Shivangi’s relationship, she chose to stop communicating with him.
Shreya also claimed that she later met Shivangi on the show’s set, where the actor allegedly told her that Kushal had said Shreya was the one who had first initiated contact on social media. Shreya said she showed Shivangi her chat history to clarify her version of events.
Kushal and Shivangi’s Relationship
Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi worked together in the television drama Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka, after which dating rumours began circulating.
In June 2025, Kushal appeared to confirm their breakup through an Instagram Story, stating that they had been separated for several months. The post was later deleted.
As of now, Kushal has not publicly responded to Shreya Kalra’s allegations.
