Gopalpur: Taking time out of the hectic campaign schedule in Ganjam, senior Biju Janata Dal leader and 5T Chairman Kartik Pandian today held an interaction with the media and discussed a host of issues concerning the state politics, current election environment and the road map of the Biju Janata Dal.

Speaking to the media at Gopalpur, Kartik Pandian lashed out at Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and the Bharatiya Janata party. He said, despite having eight Members from Odisha in the Lok Sabha in 2019, the BJP MPs never raised the issues concerning Odisha in the Parliament. He also said, the Biju Janata Dal’s aim is to fight for Odisha’s rights and interests.

The duty of the MPs is to fight for the rights of the state, but the members of the national party always worked for their Boss. Biju Janata Dal MPs always worked for the State’s interests. The national party members always want to be Ministers at the Center, said Kartik Pandian. They could not bring any development to the state. They could not bring the National Highways, Coastal Highway or any other project for the state.

The BJP has come out with a manifesto to form government in Odisha. But the BJD will bring a manifesto of service, a manifesto of prosperous Odisha. Everyone is waiting for Naveen’s manifesto. BJD will bring the manifesto not for votes but for the development of the state. CM Naveen will bring the Manifesto of service to the people, Pandian said.
In 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave an election speech at Kendrapara, where he said that there will be no more Naveen Government. The people of Kendrapara and the people of Odisha gave a befitting reply. Pandian further said that Naveen does not speak in the air. Naveen’s ten second video has garnered 10 million views. Naveen knows what the people of Odisha want. Kartik Pandian said that the blessings of the people of Odisha are with Naveen and the people of Odisha know that Naveen is serving them.

Speaking about Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s emotions, Kartik Pandian said, during the Super Cyclone, many states had sent old clothes to Odisha as relief material. CM Naveen once became emotional while remembering the incident and had said, “Old cloths were sent to Odisha as relief material after the Super Cyclone. The mounds of old cloths at the Kalinga Stadium made me very sad. But today, on that very place of Kalinga Stadium, more than 40 countries have come and performed flag march for sports. Whatever I have did for Odisha, I am very proud for that.” Kartik Pandian gets emotional while narrating the Chief Minister’s open heart.
