Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths on Thursday conducted simultaneous searches at houses associated with, Bairagi Charan Behera, Forest Range Officer of K. Nuagaon in Kandhamal district, based on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets.
Separate teams of the anti-corruption wing comprising of 4 DSPs, 7 Inspectors, and other staff, on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Phulbani, conducted searches at the following places.
1. Govt. quarter located of Behera at K. Nuagaon in Kandhamal.
2. Forest Range office of Behera located at K. Nuagaon.
3. Residential building of Behera located at Landeisahi, Bhanjanagar.
4. Farm house of Behera located at Dadaralunda under Bhanjanagar Police Station.
5. Residential of Behera house located at Bhutapalli, Boudh.
6. Residential house of 2 relatives located at Luduludi under Gangapur Police Station in Ganjam.
