Bhubaneswar: I-T department on Monday conducted multiple raids at a private coaching institute in Bhubaneswar, belonging to BJD leader Subrat Chhatoi. Reportedly, on allegations of tax evasion, the I-T raids were conducted at the private coaching centre.
I-T department teams also conducted raids at the residence of Subrat Chhatoi in Bhubaneswar.
As per reports, the raid started at around 4 am on Monday and was underway at the time of publishing this news piece. The IT officials were examining various documents of the institute. Some crucial documents were also reportedly seized and confiscated, including some bank details, by the officials.
