Sambalpur: In order to release excess floodwater from the reservoir, the Hirakud Dam authorities have opened four more sluice gates.
At present, floodwater is now being discharged through 12 gates of Hirakud reservoir.
Water level of Hirakud Dam stood at 614.04 ft by 9 am today. The current inflow of water into the dam is 1,50,799 cusecs while the outflow is 1,58,825 cusecs.
