A private van carrying four students to DAV School lost control near Sen Chowk in Ghaziabad on Thursday morning, struck a roadside tree and dropped onto the service road below.
The incident occurred around 7:30 am. The vehicle was travelling through the Vijay Nagar area when it became unbalanced, hit the tree and fell several feet onto the service lane.
CCTV footage captured the moment and showed passers-by rushing to help.
As the van was not authorised by the school and families had jointly hired the private vehicle for daily commutes, no complaint has been filed so far.
Authorities said there was no loss of life.
