France: Fashion influencer Nancy Tyagi, hailing from a humble village in Uttar Pradesh, stuns at her Cannes debut in a self-designed ballgown. Her journey from a small town to Cannes is as inspiring as it gets.

One look at Nancy Tyagi’s social media accounts and you are instantly hit with her fashion creativity. Best known for replicating high fashion attire in her own creative way, believe it or not, Nancy’s Cannes ballgown was her own creation too.
In an interview from Cannes, Nancy can be seen showcasing her outfit that featured a pink ruffled full skirt with a train. The fashion influencer confessed that she designed and stitched it herself with 1000 meters of fabric. It took her a whole month to finish the look.
Nancy’s stint at Cannes comes right after her dual nominations for the National Creators Award 2024, where she was recognised for the “Disruptor of the Year” and “The Favorite Fashion Heritage Icon of the Year” categories.
Apart from this prestigious recognition, she has also been honoured with a nomination in the “Creators For Good” category at the Femina Awards.
Armed with her trusty sewing machine, her latest content has been all about 100 days of making her outfits from scratch. The influencer scouts local markets for fabric and stitches every little detail herself, making her quite a favourite among fashion fans.
