Angul: An elephant died after coming in contact with a high-voltage live wire at Jagannathpur in the Angul district.
According to reports, the incident took place at the Jagannathpur area of the Satkoshiya Sanctuary when the tusker fell into poachers’ trap and electrocuted to death.
On being informed, the forest officials reached the spot and initiated an investigation in this regard.
