Bhubaneswar: In a bid to strengthen the fire safety measures at three premier medical colleges in the State, the has approved 45 new posts in fire department for fire safety at SCB Medical College, Cuttack, MKCG medical College-Berhampur, VSS Medical College-Burla.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved 45 new posts at various levels who will be deployed at the major state-run health institutes.
The new posts which have got approval are – three Station Officers, four Leading Fireman, three Havildar, three Fireman Driver and 30 Fireman posts. By creating these new posts, the fire safety at three medical colleges and hospitals can be improved.
