Balasore: The Special Task Force today arrested three drug peddlers and seized brown sugar worth crores of rupees.
The accused have been identified as SK Sabjan, Badrinath Sahu and Kamal Lochan Das.
Acting on reliable inputs, a raid was conducted by a team of STF at Jaleswar Bazar against illegal trade of drugs.
During search brown sugar weighing 2.66 kgs (worth over Rs 2 crores) and other incriminating materials were seized from their possession.
A case (no. 21 dated 3.6.2021] u/s 21(c) /29 NDPS Act 1985 was registered in this regards.
They have been forwarded to the court.
