Bolangir: A lady teacher of a High School in Puintala block of Balangir district was attacked by her husband with a sharp weapon in the school premises this morning.
According to sources, the victim, Sanjurani Deb, was taking class at Durgapali High School. Meanwhile, the accused Pradip Panda, who is also a teacher, barged into the high school premises and attacked his wife with a sharp weapon.
The accused was, however, overpowered by other teachers and Sanjurani was rushed to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
Later, on being informed, police rushed to the spot and arrested the accused.
