Kandhamal: One person was killed while another sustained critical injuries as the bike they were riding dashed into a bridge in Sankarakhole under Tikabali police limits in Kandhamal district.
The deceased has been identified as Dipak Sahu (19) and the injured is Gopinath Behera.
As per sources, the two persons were returning from Sankarakhole after finishing their works. Near the bridge, the bike rider lost his balance and dashed into the bridge. as a result, Dipak died on spot. And Gopinath sustained serious injuries.
The injured has been admitted to the hospital while the dead body was handed over to his family members after post-mortem. A case of unnatural death has been registered in the Tikabali police station.
