Cuttack: Alert residents of Badabhuin village nabbed three robbers and handed over to police in Athagarh area of Cuttack district.
The accused persons have been identified as Chandan Naik, Binod Naik, and Govind Naik of Ostia village under Athagarh police station limits.
Reportedly, the robbers were caught red-handed while looting from the Grocery shop of one Prasanna Kumar Panda. Later, the locals handed over them to the cops.
Besides, police seized Rs 28,600 and other tools from their possession.
A case of burglary has been registered and further investigation is underway in this regard.
