President of India Droupadi Murmu accepted credentials from the envoys of Lebanon, Mauritius, Senegal, Saudi Arabia, and Ghana at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on November 25, 2025.
The ceremony marked the formal beginning of diplomatic responsibilities for the newly appointed representatives. President Murmu welcomed the envoys and reaffirmed India’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties with each of their nations.
The envoys who presented their credentials included:
- H.E. Mr. Hadi Jaber, Ambassador of Lebanon
- H.E. Mrs. Sheilabai Bappoo, High Commissioner of Mauritius
- H.E. Mr. Abdoulaye Barro, Ambassador of Senegal
- H.E. Mr. Haytham Hassan Al-Malki, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia
- H.E. Mr. Prof. Kwasi Obiri-Danso, Ambassador of Ghana
The event underscored India’s focus on expanding cooperation in trade, culture, education, and technology with partner countries. By receiving the credentials, the President formally recognised the envoys’ authority to represent their nations and engage in diplomatic dialogue with India.
The ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan highlighted India’s growing global engagement and its role in fostering international partnerships.
