In a heartwarming ceremony at Lok Seva Bhavan, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday felicitated two extraordinary Class 10 students who achieved a rare 500 out of 500 in the CBSE board examinations.
Teenaa Rath and Alisha Biswal, the state’s CBSE toppers, were honoured with silver trophies and traditional uttariyas for their outstanding academic excellence.
The Chief Minister personally congratulated the duo, praising their dedication and hard work. “You have created an ideal for all students in the state,” CM Majhi told them. “Continue with the same sincerity and perseverance, and you will surely achieve your goals. Your success will inspire every student across Odisha.”

Both girls have set their sights on becoming doctors. Teenaa Rath, a student of Mother’s Public School in Puri, aspires to become a cardiologist, while Alisha Biswal, from Kendriya Vidyalaya-1 in Bhubaneswar, dreams of becoming a neurologist. The Chief Minister encouraged them to stay focused, assuring them that their dreams were well within reach.

Teenaa’s parents are Sameer Kumar Rath and Renu Prabha Das, while Alisha, a resident of Unit-9 in Bhubaneswar, is the daughter of Sudarshan Biswal and Soudamini Mallick. Their perfect scores have not only brought immense pride to their families and schools but have also put Odisha in the national spotlight.
CM Majhi described the two girls as shining examples for the state’s youth, urging every student to draw motivation from their journey of discipline and determination.
