Bhubaneswar: As the nation faces an acute shortage of oxygen supply and other medical aid during the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, the Odisha government has made yet another move to help people who are in dire need of the life-saving gas.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday launched doorstep delivery of oxygen concentrators for COVID-19 patients who need an urgent and timely supply of medical oxygen for effective treatment.
Patnaik launched the facility in five major cities of the state–Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Cuttack, Rourkela, and Sambalpur.
Informing about the new program on his Twitter handle, Patnaik said, “It will give huge respite to people who are looking for oxygen concentrators and strengthen our preparedness against current and future waves of COVID19.”
The CM’s Twitter handle also said that people can book the oxygen concentrators through the following four different ways:
