Under-Construction Building Collapses In Delhi, Rescue Ops Underway

New Delhi: A total of six persons have been rescued so far from the debris of an under-construction building that collapsed in south Delhi’s Satya Niketan on Monday afternoon.

According to the Delhi fire department, seven people were trapped inside the building, of which six have been rescued safely.

Rescue operations are still underway. The house was undergoing repairs when it collapsed.

The officials also said that three fire tenders were rushed to the spot for rescue work.

Apart from the eight rescued, 25 others were also working in nearby shops or were passers-by. They were also stuck in the debris.
