Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has issued guidelines relating to State-Level Republic Day celebrations in the state. The I&PR dept informed this in a tweet.
According to the notification, Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal will unfurl the Tricolour at 8.30 am at Mahatma Gandhi Marg as the Chief Guest. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will attend the function as the Guest of Honour.
The 72nd Republic Day will be celebrated with relatively less number of guests and officials due to coronavirus pandemic. The Covid Warriors will be present on the function in limited numbers.
The I&PR department in its tweet has also informed that the programme will be telecast live on television and social media.
