Ganjam: Police on Sunday arrested five people for allegedly hurling bombs at a house in Haripur village under Khallikote Tehsil in Ganjam district.
According to the reports, on Saturday, the miscreants hurled the bombs at the house of Niranjan Das & Srinivas Das. After the incident, the accused fled from the spot.
The victims were critically injured by the bomb attack and admitted to the hospital. It was suspected that the bombs were hurled due to previous enmity.
Today, the police arrested the five accused and seized two crude bombs and three swords from them.
A case has been registered and the accused have been forwarded to the court, the police said.
