Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force along with Commissionerate Police arrested two inter-state drug smugglers near Odisha University of Technology Research Centre (OUAT), Bhubaneswar on Sunday.
The accused have been identified as Mansingh Yadav of Uttar Pradesh and Mukesh Kumar Yadav of Bihar. Both were staying at Ganeswarpur under Industrial Police Station in Balasore district
Acting on a tip-off, the officials conducted a raid at Ghatikia near Odisha University of Technology Research Centre (OUAT) and arrested the accused. The joint team has also recovered Ganja (dry cannabis) around 185 kg from their possession.
Following this, a case has been registered at Bharatpur Police Station for necessary legal action in connection with the seizure of the contraband.
