Gajapati: Continuing with its crackdown against illegal drug traders, the police seized ganja weighing 157 kg from a car in Gajapati district on Thursday.
Based on an intelligence input, the police conducted a raid in Adaba area and seized the contraband from a car at Renu-Antaraba road in the district. However, the two peddlers managed to escape from the spot.
The car and the contraband were seized. A manhunt has been launched to arrest the smugglers who have fled from the spot.
