Tension gripped Cuttack’s Cantonment Road area after a youth suffered serious injuries in a knife attack. The victim, identified as Mohammad Imtiaz, was assaulted near a local hotel following a verbal altercation with the hotel owner.
Eyewitnesses said Imtiaz was sitting near the hotel when a dispute broke out. In a sudden rage, the hotel owner attacked him with a knife, inflicting deep wounds on multiple parts of his body. Locals rushed the injured youth to SCB Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
Police from Cantonment station reached the spot and began investigating the incident to determine the motive behind the attack.
