Sonepur: A woman was killed by electrocution while cleaning her house in Rahila village under Binika police limits in Sonepur district on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Basan Naik (65).
As per reports, the woman came in contact with a live wire while she was cleaning the house for Manabasa Gurubar Puja early in the morning. She was seriously injured by the electric shock.
She was taken to the Binika Community Health Centre, but doctors declared her dead. A pall of gloom descended on the village after her death.
