Vacant Plus-II Seats: Odisha Announces Dates For 3rd-Phase Admission

Bhubaneswar: The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education on Wednesday informed that the phase-III admission into vacant seats of Class 11 in Higher Secondary Schools (HSS) in the state for the 2021-22 academic sessions will be held online only.

Students are advised to log onto the official website www.samsodisha.gov.in for admission, scheduled to begin on November 18.

For admission, applicants must have passed the annual/offline/supplementary High School Certificate (HSC) Examination, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha or its equivalent boards. However, no reservation or weightage claim will be considered for the vacant seat admission.

Payment of fees for filing of Common Application Form (CAF) will be done through online mode only. However, candidates who had applied during 1 phase and 2nd phase admission 2021 but were not selected in any Higher Secondary School, can apply again through their existing login without paying any fee. Candidates who got admitted in lower preferred HSs and slided up (1st Phase) to higher preference but could not took admission can now apply without paying the CAF fees.

1. Applicants need to register themselves on the website–www.samsodisha.gov.in– by using their mobile number and email address. They can then go to the online application link inside the SAMS log-in and apply.

2. Those who have already registered themselves on the website earlier will use their respective logins to apply afresh

3-All other processes such as application submission etc, will be as per the Common Prospectus available on the website “www.samsodisha.gov.in” for e-Admission.

4.The applicants will be intimated about their selection and admission reporting time through SMS, in their SAMS login, on HSS online merit list and on the HSS notice board.
