Mumbai: A portion of an under-construction flyover collapsed in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex in the early hours of Friday, injuring several labourers. City police and fire brigade personnel are at the spot.
An official of the fire brigade informed that they are conducting inspections at the site to check whether people have been trapped under the debris.
All 14 are rushed to civic run VN Desai Hospital and they are in stable condition, said disaster control cell of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
The incident occurred at around 4:40am. The under-construction flyover connects BKC main road to Santa Cruz–Chembur Link Road.
