Sundergarh: A man was arrested for allegedly raping and impregnating his minor sister-in-law at Padajampali area under Rajgangpur police limits in Sundergarh district.
The accused has been identified as Anil Dungdung (29).
According to available information, the accused had an illicit affair with his minor sister-in-law and used to have physical relationship with her.
Reportedly, the matter came to fore after the victim got impregnated and narrated the ordeal before her mother.
Following this, the victim’s mother lodged a written complaint against the accused in the local police station. On the basis of the FIR, polices registered a case and arrested the accused. The accused will be forwarded to court after a medical checkup, police said.
