Bahraich: At least six persons were killed while 15 others sustained grievous injuries after a collision between a Roadways bus and a truck at Tappe Sipah, Bahraich of Uttar Pradesh.
According to reports, the incident occurred at around 4.30 am while a speeding truck was on its way to Lucknow from Bahraich when it broadsided a Lucknow depot bus. However, the truck driver managed to flee from the spot with the vehicle.
The injured have been sent to a hospital. The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained.
