Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki has finally released worldwide on Thursday, December 21, and it is being lauded by fans across the globe.
‘Dunki’, ‘Jawan’ and ‘Pathaan” – 2023 belongs to Shah Rukh Khan and there’s no two ways about it. SRK’s ‘Dunki’, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, hit theatres today, December 21, amid massive anticipation. The film also features Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Dia Mirza and Satish Shah in supporting roles. After giving back-to-back hits, the Badshah is all set to wow the audience one more time this year. His ardent fans have left no stones unturned in celebrating their idol and flocked theatres to watch the early morning shows across the globe. The film is expected to open with huge numbers at the box office just like ‘Jawan’ and ‘Pathaan’.
One of the first shows took place in New Zealand and an audience member from the country has taken to X, previously known as Twitter, to share his Dunki review. The social media user lauded Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani for delivering an outstanding patriotic film with Dunki. He also said that Vicky Kaushal will move you with his performance. Dunki also stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead.
While Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’ has released in theatres today, December 21, Prabhas’ high-octane action entertainer, ‘Salaar’ will grace the screens in multiple languages on December 22. According to the trade reports, SRK’s film gained an upper hand over Prabhas-starrer in the advance booking.
On the day of ‘Dunki’s release, two fans outside Mumbai’s Gaiety Galaxy, were seen in a friendly wrestling match. SRK, who is known for his clever wit, replied to the video and wrote, “Arre ab picture dekhne toh jao ya bahar hi kushti karte rahoge. Go in see the movie and tell me if u all enjoyed it. #Dunki (sic).”
