Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor’s much-awaited film, ‘Animal’, finally released in theatres on December 1. The first reviews of Ranbir Kapoor-starrer ‘Animal’ are out. Many fans went to the first-day first-show of ‘Animal’ and took to X (formerly Twitter) to review it. The film has got a thumbs up from the audience as it is getting a positive response. Many have even called the Sandeep Reddy Vanga-directorial a ‘blockbuster’.
Alongside Ranbir and Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in lead roles in Animal. The film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and revolves around a father and son’s toxic relationship. While Anil plays the emotionally unavailable father, Ranbir plays the role of the traumatised, angry son. Despite the toxicity, Ranbir’s character is conditioned into believing that his father is the ‘best father’ in the world.
Earlier, Animal was slated to be released on August 11 this year and it would have clashed with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 and Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi’s OMG 2. However, the makers shifted the film’s release date to December 1. Animal is now clashing with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur.
