Over 50 Delhi Schools Get Bomb Threats, Children Sent Home, Security Upped

New Delhi: Multiple schools in the Delhi-NCR area received a bomb threat call via E-mail on Wednesday morning.

Students were swiftly evacuated and police were informed. Officials along with a bomb squad and a dog squad conducted through search operation in various schools that received the bomb threat. Nothing suspicious has been found so far.

The schools that received the bomb threat E-Mail include – Sanskriti School of Chanakyapuri police station area, Mother Mary School in Mayur Vihar of East Delhi, DPS School of Dwarka district, DAV School, Amity School, Pushp Vihar and Saket and Sanskriti School of New Delhi district among others.

Delhi Public School, Noida is one of the schools that received the bomb threat via E-mail. Noida police were alerted soon after the bomb threat was received via mail. A bomb squad and a dog squad are inspecting the school premises.
