Bhadrak: Police seized over 13 grams of brown sugar from Charampa area in Bhadrak district on Thursday and arrested the peddler.
The smuggler has been identified as Raj Mallick of Baula Pokhari village in the district.
Based on intelligence, the cops conducted a raid in that area and arrested the accused during the MV check. 13.11 grams of brown sugar worth about 1.5 lakhs were seized from his possession. A case has been registered in the police station in this connection.
