Citizens planning to present their grievances before Odisha Chief Minister on Monday, June 15, will have to wait.
The weekly “Jan Abhiyog Sunani” (Public Grievance Hearing) programme will remain closed on that day due to a government holiday.
According to an official notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, the hearing scheduled for June 15 has been cancelled. The next date for the public hearing will be announced shortly through newspapers and other mass media channels.
This weekly programme is a flagship initiative of the state government that allows citizens to place their complaints and issues before the Chief Minister directly. The cancellation, though routine due to the holiday, is likely to affect many petitioners who travel from across the state to Bhubaneswar for the hearing.
People seeking to file grievances are advised to check official announcements or local newspapers for the revised schedule of the next hearing.
