Baipariguda Police in Koraput district solved the brutal murder of 65-year-old Laxman Golari within 48 hours and arrested three accused.
Police reported that Guru Khara of Kaukund village, along with Gaurachandra Gouda and Mahadev Gouda of Chipakur, attacked Laxman Golari and slit his throat. Investigators confirmed that the murder stemmed from long-standing enmity and frequent disputes between the victim and the accused.
On Friday night, the trio executed their plan and killed Laxman. Baipariguda Police immediately reached the crime scene with a scientific team and a sniffer dog unit. Officers collected evidence, recorded witness statements, and launched a thorough investigation.
During interrogation, Mahadev confessed to his involvement and revealed the names of his accomplices. Police swiftly arrested the other two accused and seized materials used in the crime. Authorities registered a case and produced all three in court.
SDPO Archita Mittal praised the investigating officer, OIC Dambaru Dhar Batria, and his team for their swift action. The police emphasised that solving the murder case quickly restored confidence among villagers and highlighted their commitment to justice.
