Jharsuguda: A minor was killed after his bike crashed into a trailer truck in the rear end which was parked on National Highway 49 near Gobindpur petrol pump in Jharsuguda.
The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Kalo (15), son of Narayan Kalo of Gobindpur village.
As per sources, on Thursday afternoon, Dinesh along with his friend was going to Kadamdihi for some work. Near the petrol pump, they dashed into the rear of a trailer truck parked on the roadside.
Following this, Dinesh died on the spot. Fortunately, his friend survived the crash with minor injuries.
On receiving information, the Rengali police reached the spot and seized the body for for post-mortem. An investigation has been initiated into this matter.
