Mercury Soars Across Odisha Since Early Morning

Bhubaneswar: There seems to be no respite from the heat as the maximum temperature continues to soar in Odisha. The temperature will hover around 34 to 36 degree Celsius in most parts of coastal Odisha for the next two to three days. Similarly, the internal parts of Odisha will experience a maximum temperature of 37 to 39 degree Celsius.

Boudh on Friday recorded a maximum temperature of 39.5 degree Celsius. While Malkangiri recorded a maximum temperature of 38.8 degree Celsius, Jharsuguda witnessed a maximum temperature of 38.7 degree Celsius. Temperature was over 35 degree Celsius in as many as 39 places in the State on Friday.

As per the forecast by the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Bhadrak, Balasore, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts may experience rain on Saturday.
