Koraput: Police collected Rs 8000 fine from a Wedding Feast Organiser at Chargan village under Borigumma Police Station in Koraput district for allegedly violating the COVID-19 norms.
As per reports, Borigumma Police Station IIC Sanjay Kumar Mandal and team conducted a raid at a wedding feast and found around 500 guests had gathered in the feast, further flouting COVID-19 guidelines.
Police collected a fine of Rs 8000 from the organisers of the function before reprimanding them and the guest for not following the COVID-19 norms.
