Cuttack: A youth hurled bombs at his alleged girlfriend’s house at Mundia Sahi of Chakargarh village under Narsinghpur block in Cuttack district.
The accused has been identified as Dipu Nayak, son of Meghnad Nayak from Chakragarh village.
According to reports, the accused Dipu in a one-sided love affair with the girl and has been reportedly harassing her for the past few days. Later Dipu started to threaten to kidnap her when she goes to school as the girl did not reciprocate his love. Following this, the victim has locked herself in her house as she is terrified to coming out.
When his threat did not work, irked over this, Dipu hurled bomb at the victim’s house.
The girl’s family has registered a complaint against the youth at the Narsinghpur police station. Police are currently investigating the case.
