Jajpur: Korei Block Development Officer (BDO) was allegedly assaulted in front of polling booth at Soti village under Goleipur Panchayat in Jajpur district.
According to reports, some miscreants disrupted the election when the polling was underway in booths 8,9,10, and 11 of Goleipur Panchayat in Korei block. Following the reports of irregularities, the BDO had been to the spot to take stock of the situation.
As soon as the official reached the spot, he was assaulted by some people.
