The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) has launched a nationwide call for proposals to establish cold chain projects—excluding irradiation—under the Integrated Cold Chain and Value Addition Infrastructure component of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY).
The initiative offers financial assistance to strengthen India’s agricultural value chain, reduce post-harvest losses, and improve farm-to-market efficiency. Eligible entities are encouraged to apply exclusively via the online portal between 28th May (11:00 hrs) and 26th July 2025 (17:00 hrs).
A mandatory non-refundable application fee, payable via Demand Draft to “Pay & Accounts Officer, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, New Delhi,” must accompany the proposal digitally and reach the ministry in original by one week post-deadline.
The Ministry will host a pre-bid meeting on June 9, 2025, at 11:00 hrs in Room No. 120, Panchsheel Bhawan, New Delhi, to guide applicants through the process and clarify eligibility norms.
