Bhubaneswar: The field officials are on full preparedness & alert to mitigate the fire situation in Odisha.
As per a press note from the Office of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & HOFF, At present, the fire situation is totally contained in the State.
“The concerted efforts of State for mitigation and management of the ongoing fire along with 24×7 efforts of field staff with local communities has led to the containment of the forest fire in the State. The involvement of locals along with mobilisation of communities & sustained awareness is continued in the field for effective fire management, read the press note.
Further, the Forest Fire Task Force informed that the Central Team, after completion of their field visit, has deliberated with Government and would provide their recommendations.
