Bhubaneswar: A courier carrying vehicle of ‘Blue Dart’ caught fire near a godown at Hanspal in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
Fortunately, no person was injured in the incident. But the vehicle along with three bikes were reduced to ashes by the fire.
As per reports, the vehicle had come from New Delhi to Bhubaneswar carrying couriers to the godown in Hanspal. A fire broke out in the vehicle suddenly while it was parked outside the godown. The godown authorities tried to control the fire till the fire brigades reached there.
The fire could be seen from a long distance. The fire was extinguished by both the fire department personnel of Pahal and Bhubaneswar.
The exact reason of fire is yet to be ascertained, but it is suspected that short circuit by some technical problems might have caused the fire.
