Bhubaneswar: Police arrested three persons in connection with the attack on a web journalist near Dhirikuti Basti in Bhubaneswar.
The weapons and the bikes used in the crime were seized by the Mancheswar police. However, another miscreant involved in this attack is still absconding.
As per reports, four miscreants attacked the journalist named Jyotiranjan Mahapatra who works on the web channel ‘Bada Khabar’ near Dhirikuti Basti in the capital city late on Saturday night. After the attack, they fled from the spot.
Jyoti was rescued by the locals and admitted to the Capital hospital in critical condition. Afterwards, an FIR was registered in the Mancheswar police station. Based on this, the police have started an investigation. Today, the police arrested three of the four miscreants.
