Keonjhar: A girl student died at Patana village in Keonjhar after a poisonous snake bit her while she was asleep in a private hostel where she was staying. The deceased has been identified as Swopna Lohar from Badapasi village in the district.
She was studying +2 Science at Patana College and was staying in Laxmipriya mess at Patana Bazar.
Though she was immediately rushed to the District Head Quarters Hospital (DHH) in Keonjhar, she succumbed while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
