New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation on Friday moved the Supreme Court against bail granted to Rashtriya Janata Dal President and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav by Jharkhand High Court in the Doranda treasury case related to the fodder scam.
The Supreme Court agreed to list the appeals filed by CBI on August 25.
The CBI challenged orders of Jharkhand High Court granting bail to RJD president Lalu Prasad in four cases relating to multi-crore fodder scam (Dumka, Chaibasa, Doranda, Deogarh treasuries).
The CBI wanted the RJD President’s bail cancelled.
