Baripada: A tusker was found injured at Masinakathi under Betnoti forest range in Mayurbhanj district on Sunday morning.
According to reports, the locals spotted the elephant lying on the ground in an injured state and informed the Forest department about the same.
On receiving information, team of doctors from OUAT and Similipal reached the spot and started treatment of the pachyderm after tranquilizing it.
