WB Governor criticizes Mamata Banerjee for not maintaining political neutrality

Kolkata: West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankar on Friday said political neutrality is being compromised in the state.

Dhankar lashed out at Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for promoting regional appeasement ahead of upcoming Assembly polls.

Describing  the state of affairs as alarming, the West Bengal Governor said in his tweet that he is deeply concerned and disturbed at the lack of political neutrality.

Dhankar further hit out at the Trinamool government saying that the state has violated Article 176 by not inviting him to address the Legislative Assembly on the commencement of the first session of the year.
