Statewide meetings involving parents, teachers, and School Management Committee (SMC) members were successfully held across schools in Odisha.
The collaborative gatherings brought together educators, guardians, and committee representatives to review students’ academic achievements following the first summative assessment.
Key deliberations centred on student safety and preventive security measures for residential hostel boarders. Discussions also emphasised the community’s role in establishing child-labour-free village panchayats, promoting the drug-free India campaign (Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan), and advancing the vision of a developed nation (Viksit Bharat).
Additionally, attendees reviewed the maintenance of incinerators and vending machines for adolescent girl students alongside general campus cleanliness and hygiene.
Participants highlighted the vital role of community engagement in boosting educational standards and fostering institutional development.
Guardians provided constructive suggestions for overall school improvement, reaffirming that parents and local communities will work hand-in-hand with school administrators to support student progress and holistic growth.
