Bhubaneswar is set to unveil its rich tapestry of heritage, nature, and modern urban design as the Heritage Cell of the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) launches the 10th edition of Ekamra Walks on October 17.
Coinciding with the festive spirit of Durga Puja, this flagship guided initiative invites both residents and global visitors to experience the Odisha capital beyond its conventional tourism spots.
Festive Trails and Conference Specials
The season kicks off with exclusive morning trails running from October 17 to 22, offering peaceful early-hour explorations during the Dussehra holidays. Following this, from October 23 to 25, Ekamra Walks will feature curated itineraries for delegates attending the Urban Mobility India (UMI) Conference and Expo 2026.
These tailored delegate experiences balance conference schedules with rich local culture. Offerings range from the Living Temple City Trail highlighting intricate Kalingan architecture to the Walk in Wilderness at Deras, handloom shopping excursions, Dhauli and Udayagiri light-and-sound shows, and nocturnal jungle safaris. Following these special events, the regular season will run from November 1, 2026, through February 28, 2027.
